While Chicago-native Sachal Vasandani was in college, he tempered his interest in jazz and classical music with studies in economics, and he eventually became an investment banker on Wall Street. But Vasandani was still drawn to music, and he left a career in the financial industry to try his luck as a jazz vocalist. The job change proved to be a worthwhile one, as Vasandani later found himself performing with Wynton Marsalis and turning out recordings for the Mack Avenue label. On this original tune from his latest effort, We Move, Vasandani shows off his smooth, gentle croon.
