Caitlyn Kim
Caitlyn Kim is the General Assignment Editor for WNYC.org. She joined the staff in August 2011. Caitlyn was a reporter/producer at WAMC and KQED. She also covered Connecticut state politics for WNPR, WFCR and WAMC and covered Congress as a freelancer with Capitol News Connection in Washington, D.C. Her work has appeared on NPR and Marketplace.
Prior to coming to WNYC, she worked an analyst for the Department of Defense, which included a stint in the White House Situation Room.
A New Jersey native, she graduated from Wellesley College and holds master's in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University-SAIS and a Master’s in International History from LSE.

Federal prosecutors announced Wednesday that stolen Wedgewood china looted from one of Saddam Hussein's palaces had been turned over to Iraqi diplomats. The news hits close to home for an arts group in New York since the plates were used as part of an art exhibit that started with an interest in dates and dinner plates.
