The East River State Park, on Kent between North 8th and North 9th Streets, host about a dozen 'benefit' shows organized by the Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn (OSANB). 'Benefit' does mean they cost money, but the new venue is spacious, holds 6,000 fans, has a Manhattan backdrop and pulls in a high caliber cast of artists.
